 Hail Conquerors! Welcome to the opening article of my new blog - Tales from the Vanguard.  Here you will find a variety of articles sharing my experiences, insights and passion for Para Bellum's games Conquest: First Blood and Conquest: the Last Argument of Kings.  

As a long-time hobbyist and devoted Conquest supporter, I've been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to create a space where I can connect with like-minded individuals and dive deeper into this fantastic game.  Conquest has captured my imagination with its rich and ever-expanding lore, diverse factions and engaging tactical gameplay.  To say that I'm excited to explore it all with you is somewhat of an understatement.  

For the uninitiated, Conquest is a fantasy-themed tabletop wargame that transports players to the world of Eä, a world slowly recovering from a world-changing event that has left the inhabitants reeling and the promise of conflict and warfare a near-certainty. Developed by Para Bellum games, Conquest invites you to assemble and lead powerful armies from an ever-expanding catalogue of factions, each with their own unique strengths, strategies and visual aesthetics.  

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the wargaming scene, Tales from the Vanguard will have something to offer. In the weeks and months ahead, you can expect to find a variety of content, including:
